Media Walls
V&M Home Extensions build media walls across Norfolk and Suffolk. We build the stud framework, panelling and cabinetry, form the recesses for the television and an electric fire, and run the cabling routes inside the wall so nothing is left trailing down to the sockets.

The work
A media wall is a joinery job pretending to be a furniture job. Done properly it is a stud framework built off the wall, lined and boarded, with recesses formed to the exact size of the television and the fire, cable routes built in before the boards go on, and cabinetry either side that lines through with the panelling.
Done badly it is a flat panel screwed to a wall with a gap behind it, and the cables still visible. The difference is in the setting out. Getting the television recess at the right height for the seating position, and getting the fire recess to the manufacturer's clearances, has to happen before anything is boarded, because afterwards it is too late.
Questions
Straight answers. Where something depends on your property, we say so rather than guessing.
Yes. The recess is formed to the clearances stated by the fire manufacturer, which vary between models, so we need to know which fire you are having before the framework is built. The electrical connection itself is carried out by a qualified electrician.
