Newmarket kitchen installation, start to finish

Newmarket sits about 19 miles south west of Brandon, well inside our core area. We also work in Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, Soham and the villages between them, so this part of Suffolk is well inside the area we cover.

Newmarket falls under West Suffolk Council. Anything structural, or anything that changes the footprint, is decided and inspected by them rather than by us. We build to what has been approved and work to the inspection stages on the programme.

Newmarket is Victorian and Edwardian terraces near the centre, with modern development out on the edges. Kitchen fitting is shaped by that more than by anything we bring to it. That is what decides how much of a job is straightforward and how much is patient work against what is actually there. We price from the property, never from a template.

At about 19 miles from our base, getting out to measure up is straightforward rather than something we have to schedule weeks ahead. Call or send the enquiry form and we will arrange a time that suits you. The quote costs nothing.

The terraced plots in Newmarket are narrow and deep. For work inside the house the plot matters less than it does for building work, but it still decides where the van, the deliveries and any skip can go.

The racing industry shapes a great deal of property here, including yard and tied accommodation. For fitted work it is usually background, and it becomes relevant the moment a wall is moving or a floor is being lifted.

That is the council's decision rather than ours, and it turns on the property and the exact work. A listed house, or a job that moves a structural wall, is where it is most worth asking before anything is booked. The council to ask in Newmarket is West Suffolk Council, and we can point you at the right department once we have seen the job.

Yes. The nearest other towns on our list to Newmarket are Mildenhall, Bury St Edmunds, Soham, Ely and Haverhill, and the villages in between are covered as well. Each of those has its own page for kitchen fitting, linked further down this page.

Yes. It most often runs alongside second fix carpentry, extension work and renovation work, and because one team does the carpentry throughout there is no gap between trades. At about 19 miles from our base, putting the work into one programme also means one run of travel instead of several.

Call 07539 278705 or send the enquiry form with a line about the job. At roughly 19 miles away, a visit to measure up fits easily into a normal week. The quote costs nothing.
