Bought a kitchen? We fit it, in Downham Market

Downham Market sits about 16 miles north west of Brandon, well inside our core area. Downham Market, Feltwell and Swaffham and the villages around them all sit inside our core area.

Downham Market falls under Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk. That matters as soon as a project involves a structural alteration or anything outside the existing footprint, because the application and the inspections go through them. We build to what has been approved and work to the inspection stages on the programme.

Downham Market has a market town centre of carrstone and brick property with considerable modern development around it. Everything else follows from that. It is the difference between a job that runs to plan and one that needs scribing to every surface. We price from the property, never from a template.

At about 16 miles from our base, getting out to measure up is straightforward rather than something we have to schedule weeks ahead. Call or send the enquiry form and we will arrange a time that suits you. The quote costs nothing.

The modern estate plots sit on the edges of Downham Market, away from the older centre. It is mostly a practical point for inside work: where materials are unloaded and where a cutting station can be set up out of the way.

Fenland ground conditions apply here, and they are a real factor for anything with a foundation. Inside the house that rarely stops anything, but it is worth knowing about when the work touches a wall, a floor or anything structural.

That is the council's decision rather than ours, and it turns on the property and the exact work. A listed house, or a job that moves a structural wall, is where it is most worth asking before anything is booked. For a property in Downham Market the authority that decides is Borough Council of King's Lynn and West Norfolk, and we will tell you plainly what we think before you contact them.

Yes. The nearest other towns on our list to Downham Market are Feltwell, Swaffham, Brandon, Ely and March, and the villages in between are covered as well. Each of those has its own page for kitchen fitting, linked further down this page.

Yes. It most often runs alongside second fix carpentry, extension work and renovation work, and because one team does the carpentry throughout there is no gap between trades. At about 16 miles from our base, putting the work into one programme also means one run of travel instead of several.

Call 07539 278705 or send the enquiry form with a line about the job. At roughly 16 miles away, a visit to measure up fits easily into a normal week. The quote costs nothing.
